Roster Cockapoo Newmanstown, PA

Roster is a tiny (approximately six pound) male cockapoo and he was born in January 2013. He is extremely shy and timid and very, very sweet.

Roster needs a human with a quiet home and lots of patient love to bring him out of his shell -- it will be a long process since he was very damaged by his life in the puppy mill, but it will be very worth it in the end! He will do best in a home without young children since their activity would be very scary for him. He thrives on routine and his favorite spot in the world is a sunny window sill.

He loves taking walks on his leash. He has been with his foster family several months and is still quite afraid of people, but he does like sitting with the family on the couch watching tv. He has gotten pretty attached to his foster dad and will sometimes sit in his lap while he works at the computer.

Roster will need a secure fenced in yard.

Roster gets along well with other dogs and has not been aggressive in any situation. He does well with grooming and baths. He keeps his crate nice and clean at night but wears a belly band during the day because his potty training still needs some work.

Despite being afraid of humans, he feels some separation anxiety when he thinks he is alone and might cry or howl until he gets used to his environment and the routine.
