Rosie Labradoodle Mena, AR

Rosie is a 2 year old sweetheart who needs a forever home. Her current owner has health problems and can no longer take care of her.

Info from owner:
"She loves to play with the chuck-it ball & when she gets tired, she'll tell you by keeping the ball & going to lay down in her pool.
Most of the time she'll stop to pick up some kind of toy before she comes to greet you, hoping you'll throw it.

Rosie really loves her toys. She gets along with other dogs. She doesn't like females that are more dominate than her,
but she's not the Dom in our herd. Once she's introduced to cats, she basically ignores them.

She does have a problem with straying, but she always comes back.
We live in a very rural area & the last time she strayed (March 2023) she came home with bullet wounds & our other biggie never came home.
We're guessing that he sacrificed himself to save her.
The vet said the bullet isn't anywhere that it will hurt her & the surgery to remove it would cause more damage.
Because I'm not stable enough to take care of myself, she's been getting neglected & I hate this.
Rosie has been losing weight & doesn't understand why she has to be outside, where before the only reason she went out was to go potty.
She is such a wonderful soul that just wants love & affection. When it's possible she can come in for supervised visits.
She's used to sitting or laying on me, which I've always encouraged, but we can't do that anymore.

She knows sit (what do good girls do) & she knows leave it, meaning she's doing something she shouldn't be doing.
We are training failures other than that. She does know things like bringing it back to mom or dad when we're playing fetch. We use a 2 ball rotation with the chuck-it & we don't throw the next ball until she's brought back the first one. She also likes playing t2tug with us & our other pup.

Rosie will be 3 years old on the 6th of July & we personally know her first humans & parents.
She's good with adults & children, although she's never been around little children.
Our youngest granddaughter was 8 when Rosie came to us. We want her to have the best life possible & she really deserves it.

We live in Mansfield, AR & are willing to meet someone within a reasonable distance. "
