DOG'S DESCRIPTION: HI THERE! I am waiting to go home and become your one and only. It is kind of boring in this kennell and I keep hoping you will come to get me soon. Rosemary is a spirited and playful 1-year-old Mountain Cur/Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her boundless energy. Weighing in at 45 lbs, this lovely girl is seeking a special someone with an abundance of dog-savvy knowledge to help her blossom into the amazing canine companion she is destined to be.Rosemary is a bit of a rough-and-tumble player, exhibiting puppy-like behavior and mannerisms that make her endearing and full of character. While she may play hard, her intentions are pure, and she is always eager to please. She has already mastered the art of sitting and is diligently learning the art of lying down, showcasing her impressive intelligence and attentiveness.

Rosemary's potential is boundless, and she is looking for a person who can channel her exuberance into positive experiences. She occasionally fixates on other dogs during walks, but with the right guidance, she can learn to focus on her person. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
