Rory Terrier & Yorkshire Terrier Mix Oklahoma City, OK

This cutie is Rory!

Rory is an approximately 9-month old male Terrier mix and weighs around 10 lbs. He was rescued from a small shelter in Oklahoma.

Rory is a friendly, playful and active little guy! He loves to tear up his stuffed animals and will play fetch with you. Rory is a little heartbeat at your feet and would love to be with you most of the time. He would be a great little companion for an active retired person or someone who works from home. He is a smart kid and catches on to things fast.

He loves to play with other dogs but is also independent so he could be an only dog to someone home a lot. He has chewed up some paper when left alone, but nothing valuable yet. We would recommend crating him when left alone, until you know he can be trusted. Rory has been fine with the children that he has met. He will chase cats!

Rory needs a home with a very secure stockade fence as he is a Houdini dog and can find any holes in your fence. He also loves to dodge out of the front door but doesn’t go far, but need to set up a baby gate or other devise to prevent this from happening in the first place.

Rory is crate, leash, and house trained to a doggy door, but may need a refreshment course in a new environment.

He is neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.
