Meet Rooner
This is Rooner. He is a pit mix who just turned 1 yr old! He was found running through 4 lane traffic in philly and did not hesitate to jump in the car to be rescued. He loves meeting new people and loves to play with his toys. His downtime consists of laying next to his foster parents and chewing a bone. He has been introduced to other dogs on a leash and shows only excitement and curiosity. When he runs he hops like a kangaroo- hence his name! Rooner is enthusiastic and gets excited to explore and learn new things. He is a quick learner and already knows sit, lay, paw, and spin after being in a foster home for 2 months. He walks great on the leash and is attentive and treat motivated. He is crate trained and housebroken. Rooner would do best in a home without kids, since he is working on controlling his jumping.
