Meet Roo
Meet Roo!
Roo is a 1 & 1/2 year old 7 pound Chihuahua/Maltese mix. He joined Monkeys Pack when his owner lost his housing. Roo took a little time to settle into a new place but he’s really opening up! His foster says he is really a fun little guy. He's sweet & playful and is not shy about asking for attention. He's a perfect little lap dog!
Roo is leary of new people. We think he wasn’t exposed to those outside the home, but if approached slow & gently he will smell your hand and then turn away. With his person he is a stage 5 clinger! Roo doesn’t seem to have had much training so an adopter would need to keep working on basic skills, but he is catching on.
Roo is great with other dogs, both small and medium size. He has been around cats and was interested but doesn’t chase them. We aren’t sure about kids but think he may be frightened by them so we recommend an adult only home.
