Ronnie Shepherd Mix Seattle, WA

Animal Profile: Ronnie is an 8-month-old, 43lb Shepherd mix that joined us from Modesto. Shelter staff say she's exceptionally sweet, and that you can't help but love on her when she locks those soulful eyes on you. Ronnie is friendly with people and other dogs.

Foster Update:

Ronnie is a sweet, energetic girl who loves all people! She is great with other dogs and will do best in a home with a playful canine companion. She is very confident and can be a little pushy when it comes to play, so she'll benefit from a dog sibling that loves to play and enjoys a physical play style. No cats for this girl as she really wants to chase them if given any opportunity.

Ronnie has been doing well with structure and training and excels when working; she loves to have a job! She is fantastic on the leash and will be a great walking buddy for someone who likes to walk or run. She is potty trained and making good progress on her crate training. Given her energetic nature and tendency to get a bit jumpy, Ronnie will do best with older, dog-savvy kids or in an adult-only home.

Ronnie's ideal family is one who is committed to her ongoing training. The reward of her though is she will make a great companion that can go anywhere and do anything. Camping, backpacking, patio dining, busy city walks, etc., she will be happy to join in!

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current on DPPV & Bordetella. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.

Animal History: This dog was rescued from the euthanasia list at a high-kill shelter in Modesto, California and being transported via START, arriving to Seattle area foster care 3/14/2024. She will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
