ROMEO Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & Poodle Mix Floral City, FL

Romeo is a handsome little boy and was so named because the white on his forehead is in the shape of a heart. He is a mix of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Poodle, and Maltese, although he tends to look more like a spaniel. He was born in August 2022 and weighs just 12 pounds. He arrived from a puppy mill situation where he was seldom touched, let alone snuggled or loved. This kind of treatment results in a dog with little or no self-esteem. He has come a long way since he arrived at the rescue, but he needs a home where he will be loved and encouraged to reach his full potential. He needs a home where he will feel loved and secure. He does well with other dogs his size. Anyone interested in adopting Romeo needs to own their home and will absolutely need a secure fenced yard where he can go potty, can play, and work on leash training. He should not be left outside without close supervision, as a small dog would be easy prey for a predator. Romeo is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and crate trained. We are working with him on leash training.
