Ruff! I’m Roger and I'm very pleased to meet you! I’m a sweet pup looking for a family to share my life with!

I've been in New Hampshire for a few weeks now and I must bark that I love it here! My foster family is awesome and wanted me to share what they have learned about me so far!

"He has gorgeous green/hazel eyes with a pretty brindle coat to compliment them. Personally, I think he is a bit smaller than he appears in photos. He has long, floppy legs and big, squishy paws.

He loves to be with his people and is a snuggle bug on the couch. He likes to lay on my arm while I do homework and will slowly scooch up until he’s basically in my lap. He is a smart boy and knows how to use those puppy eyes to get what he wants.

He is quite the performer and loves to do somersaults! He is the most acrobatic puppy I’ve ever seen, and he makes my roommate and I cry laughing throughout the day

Roger loves all people and likes to say hello to everyone on walks. He is a tiny bit jumpy but is otherwise very well-behaved on walks with little to no barking at other dogs or people. He’s very fascinated by cars and likes to watch them go by (which is adorable), but he doesn’t bark at them and hasn’t tried to chase them

He hasn’t been in the car much but was good when he was in his crate for the ride home from the rescue. He had no accidents and only barked for a minute before he settled in.

He is good with potty training and will give you clear signs when he needs to go out! He currently gives a little yip at the door or tries to get to/eat his leash when he wants to go outside.

He loves to play! I’ve been making him many enrichment toys/activities with a little bit of frozen peanut butter/carrots/cucumbers, and he loves them. These are great for him to do while I get some housework done.

He is very curious and likes to give everything a little taste when he walks by but then moves on

He is a little bit nippy when he wants attention but we are working on that, and he is a very good listener. I’ve found that when he’s nippy, he’s bored and just wants an activity to do.

He is very gentle when you give him treats, and will sit patiently for his snack.

He has mastered cue words like “sit” and “potty”, and is working on lay down

Roger certainly prefers to snuggle up in bed but is pretty good about being his crate. He’ll whimper and bark in protest for about a minute or two and then is quiet till morning. I’ve been getting up with him around 6:30/7, and he is full of energy once he’s up, so we go on a walk, and then he happily plays with his enrichment toy while I get ready for the day.

Overall, Roger is a spunky little gentleman with a big personality and so much love to share."

A few other details about me. I'm around 5 months old and 17-20 lbs.

Because I'm still a puppy, I'll need time and patience to continue to learn all the things I need to know to be the best pup in town!
