Rocky is a very gentle sweet old man. He is looking for a family that is a bit slower and laid back. He is not an active guy, and does have a limp when he walks. We have had his leg x-rayed and the limp is from wear and tare on the joint probably from being tied up and walking in circles. He loves laying out in the sun, spending time at the pond, and slowly exploring the outdoors. He is good with other dogs, but should not be in a home with cats or small animals. He loves going for car rides and hanging out with his people. He is a giant cuddle bug, and will be sure to keep you warm on cold days. Rocky would be best in a home with older children that can give him his space and provide a calm environment for him. He will need to be kept on a joint supplement to help with his limp and arthritis as he ages. He is great on his leash, and is very gentle when taking treats. Rocky has been great with most of the people he has met in our care, but can be a bit cautious of strange men when being approached.

Rocky has been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped, dewormed, and treated with Heartgard Spectra. He came to us as an unclaimed stray from a local Animal Shelter.
