Rocks in my Crocs (Rocky) American Staffordshire Terrier & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Lyndhurst, VA

Hey there, I'm Rocks in my Crocs, but you can call me Rocky for short! At 3 years old, I'm a neutered American Bully mix with a heart of gold and a story to tell. I may have started my journey at a local dump, but thanks to a kind soul, I'm now safe and sound at the shelter, ready to find my forever home. With my contagious happy-go-lucky personality, it's no wonder I'm a favorite among the staff and volunteers here—I'm just a real little lovebug who can't wait to spread some joy!

I've got the best wigglebutt around, and there's nothing I love more than showering my human friends with kisses. Whether it's sitting in your lap for a cuddle session or going for a leisurely stroll, I'm happiest when I'm by your side. Plus, I've tested well with other dogs at the shelter, so I'm eager to meet any potential future friends who can keep up with my playful spirit. The staff here also think I'd be a great match for kiddos, though they should be prepared for lotsa kisses—I just can't help but show my affection to everyone I meet. I do have something called Chronic Airway Disease, which is essentially CoPD for dogs and does come with some specific requirements for my future home. I will need an indoor only home and cannot live in a home with any smoking, as it can upset my system. I need to always be walked on a harness and my new fam should watch my breathing when it's very hot out or if I play really hard. I currently take antibiotics, but that may not be necessary for my whole life, so check in with your vet! I'm a wonderful boy, so don't let my little cough scare you!
