Meet Rocco, a five-year-old Catahoula Leopard/Lab mix who wants nothing more than to be with the people he calls his own. Incredible on the leash, Rocco responds to a few sharp German words that keep him close with a sweet, friendly demeanor. His hobbies include people pleasing, sneaking bites out of the dogfood bin while you pour in new kibbles, playing with other dogs in his home, and taking your warm spot on the couch right after you get up. He has a passive manner and takes food gently from your hand, but if you hit a good scratching spot when showing him love he’ll roll right over you with glee. Rocco has lived his life with multiple dogs much larger and much smaller than him with no issues and prefers his people or other pooches to any toys you might throw around or give him to chew. He’s not a runner and has never been an escape artist, so no worries going about life as normal with him by your side. A spoiled baby, he always gets Kong’s full of carrots, peanut butter, and other treats when his family leaves the home, but is happy to spend hours alone without concern protecting it until they return.
