Meet Rocco
Rocco is about 11 months old, 30 lbs beagle mix who is equal parts sweet, goofy, shy & puppy mischief.
Rocco came to HERO terrified of people after being raised by a feral beagle mama in West TN. Rocco really didn't want to trust humans but after months of cuddles, watching other dogs get love & sleeping in bed, Rocco has decided people aren't too bad.
Rocco loves to play with his foster fur siblings or his toddler human foster brother. When tired he loves to cuddle with other dogs or his foster humans on the couch. He is a velcro pup at heart & loves to be touching another pup or human.
Rocco does get into some puppy trouble (mostly finding all kinds of things we forgot we even had like slippers from the back of the closet lol). Rocco depends a lot on his dog friends to show him how to act and what to do in a home.
Rocco can still be scared of new people but we know if someone is willing to put in the time to love Rocco, the amount of love he gives back is definitely worth it.
Rocco is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped & ready for his furever home.
