RJ Mixed Breed Allegan, MI

RJ is SUCH a fun dog who would love to have a human adventure buddy. He is also a smart pup who loves learning new tricks! One of our volunteers has taught him how to sit, shake, and lay down. RJ walks well on the leash and enjoys playing fetch on a long lead. Smart + active = this guy isn't having a great time at the shelter.

RJ was brought to the Allegan Shelter 9/13/23 as a lost dog. Since he was not reclaimed, he's been neutered, microchipped, and brought up to date on vaccinations/prevention. The medical team estimates he's almost 2 years old.

This bouncy boy would love to have a doggie sibling to play with when he gets adopted, but he is definitely not every dog's cup of tea. He would need a buddy who doesn't mind playing rough and who forgives his puppy social faux pas. If there is another dog in the home, we'll schedule a meet and greet to make sure they're a good match! We think any "kids" in the home should be teenaged or older for this big, playful goof.
