Rizzo will be at our Open House on MONDAY, MAY 20 from 3-5 pm at 106 Adams Street, Medfield, MA unless adopted before that time. Approved applicants and those with applications in process are welcome to attend Open House by appointment.

Rizzo was adopted last September but has come back to us. Her owner feels that Rizzo, requires a different home environment, one where she has more stimulation and a large yard to play in. Rizzo is very, very sweet and enjoys engaging people to play with her whether it is a game of tug of war or chasing toys. While being fostered down south it was discovered that she loves playing in water. She also met cats and ignores them.

She is a pleaser and is very bonded to her person/people. Rizzo does not get along with all dogs and has not been cat tested. She loves a challenge while learning new commands and is well on her way to a strong recall. Rizzo is house trained and will go into her crate willingly using it as her safe place as well.

Rizzo is selective as to who she likes when introduced to new people while out on walks. She will bark and jump when people come to the house but settles down quickly. Rizzo does best with routines and things and places she is familiar with. Introduction to new experiences and places will require gentle patience. She will require a confident dog savvy owner.

Rizzo is being fostered by her current owner. Approved applicants will have the opportunity to connect with her owner. Her adoption fee is $250
