Meet River

Meet River! He is about 3 years old, 65 pounds, and most likely a Mountain Cur / Lab mix. River is a sweet, beautiful boy who needs an equally fun loving owner. He’s very active, smart, and always wanting to be on the go. He loves to play and can be very busy. If he doesn’t get to play and run then he’ll find his own things to do around the house. He would love to be with someone who likes to take runs with him, who has a large fenced yard, or would be a great hunting or hiking companion. He’s terrific at fetch. He definitely has a need to please and really enjoys learning new tricks and commands. River also thinks he’s a lapdog. When he loves you, he loves hard. It’s really sweet actually. River would do best in a home where he can have someone to work with him one on one with training (he is a big boy and doesn’t always realize his size) and who can give him a lot of time to exercise! River is crate trained and knows most basic commands.
