Meet Riley - ADOPTED

My name is Riley. I came to New England a few weeks ago and I hit the jackpot with my new foster home!!!

My foster mom says I'm the sweetest puppy she's ever met and my foster fur friends are just the best! In the morning when I come out of my crate they let me give them lots of kisses ?

They share all their toys with me. They don't even seem upset when I gather all the toys up and bring them into my crate. Sometimes they don't want to play when I do, so I'm also happy to play by myself.

My foster mom says I have a very waggly tail and that I'm doing pretty good at potty training. The day I rang the bell to go outside I thought she was going to cry. She said sometimes I look a little silly because my ears can't decide if they are going to go up or stay down....only time will tell. She said she loves me either way ?

One of my favorite things to do is go for walks. Sometimes we meet other people when we're out and about and that is just the best, especially the kids. I'm having so much fun learning all kinds of new things!

My foster mom says there is a special family out there for me......I just can't wait to meet them :)

Riley is approximately 3 months old and weighs just under 20 lbs. She's working on perfecting potty training, does great in her crate, loves walks, people of all sizes, shapes and ages and adores other dogs. We're pretty sure that she would even do well with a cat or two. A fenced yard would be nice to keep her safe while romping with her fur friends but we are happy to talk if you feel you can keep her safe without one. Another dog in the home would be a plus, but again, a commitment to continue to socialize her would be a great alternative.

A physical fence would be preferred for regular exercise and engaging activities to keep her healthy, happy, and safe.

Riley is looking for:
• An active family with someone who is home more often than not
• Someone who will continue training and socialization
• A fenced yard to romp and play in and/or a way to stay safe
• A young active dog in residence to provide socialization and companionship
• Unconditional love, patience, and attention

Rescue is more than a verb. It's a promise. Dogs come with a variety of needs - some behavioral, some emotional, some medical. When approved applicants rescue these dogs by adopting them, they take on whatever comes with the dog. This is what it means to rescue.

GHR ONLY ADOPTS TO ADULTS OVER THE AGE OF 25 AND FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN OVER 6 AND PUPPIES TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE TIME FOR THEM.

It doesn't matter where the pups are from; it only matters where they live the rest of their lives.
