Meet Rileigh
Hi there! I'm Rileigh! Even though I'm just about 6-months old, my story involves a lot of people. I was evidently left to fend for myself, at a very young age, for some time. A group of neighbors watched over me until Rescue One could save me. Now, I'm safe and life is much better.
I'm learning what being a loved dog is really all about. I'm told I'm a 28-pound, energetic terrier-mix, on my way to being a medium size adult dog. I'm learning about house, crate and leash skills, as well as other family etiquette in my foster home. I didn't have the opportunity to learn to be a true family member when I was very young, so I'll need a patient family who will continue my training. I would do best in a home with a fenced yard, and another patient canine friend. If you have time, patience, love and understanding to share, I'd love to share my heart with you.
***I am currently enrolled in the Pups for Parole training program. Upon graduation, I will have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion. I will need a family willing to continue my training, I sure don't want to forget all that I learned!***
