Meet Riffles a young (1 ish pitbull/terrier)! Prior to coming to CHN Riffles wasn't always given the best care, he arrived to CHN in terrible condition- he was emaciated covered in dirt and his skin looked terrible for lack of better words. Despite his terrible condition Riffles came off the transport van wagging his tail as if he knew he was finally safe! Now that we have gotten to know Riffles a little more, gotten his skin condition under control (possible food allergy and malnutrition), and sorted out his GI issues we are turning to you for help! Riffles is ready to make the shelter a thing of the past and make himself comfortable in someones home! He is the sweetest pup ever who loves everyone he meets! He has quickly stolen the hearts of all of the staff members due to his awesome crate manners, sweet demeanor and love of carrying toys in his mouth (absolutely adorable)! Riffles does ok on the leash but as of now doesn't enjoy super long walks, he seems to be ok with smaller, calmer dogs but tries to be dominate with larger more playful dogs!

Riffles is looking for a home without children (family members must be 14 years and older), because he does resource guard.
