Meet Rick

Meet Rick – This clever guy is asking that you please not judge a book by its cover. Rick is a very loving guy who is great on leash and has a very fancy-prancey gait. In close quarters, Rick can be a little mouthy in play – he hasn’t yet figured out that some things (like tug toys) are for play and others (like leashes and sleeves) are not. That being said, Rick is a very quick learner and has been improving immensely here at the shelter. Rick’s perfect adopter would be someone who has an interest in dog training and is excited to build on the foundation that we are working on here at the shelter. Rick has done well with other dogs, so a home with another dog would be nice for him. However, due to a high prey drive, homes with cats or other small animals are a no go for him.
