Rhett Weimaraner Charlestown, IN

Hi, my name is Rhett. I like to tell people I was named after Rhett Butler in Gone with the Wind. Hopefully, you have heard of that movie. I was born on August 17, 2022, so that makes me about 1-1/2 years old. I came into LWR with my brother Riggs. We are currently being boarded in Florence, KY. This is the fourth place we have been in our short life. The other three places were homes where we were too much for them. I am a gray Weim, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative and started on prevention, and the rumor is that I am being neutered soon. A nice LWR volunteer and her daughter visit with me. They report I have a sweet personality and love to cuddle. When we went to the vet, I was a very good boy. I do know how to sit, but I need help with staying put. I will also need help with jumping on people, but I get so excited and want attention. I am very smart and will learn quickly. I will need help with leash and potty training too. All the people at the boarding facility are super nice. They take care of me and get me out to play and socialize. When Riggs and I first arrived, we were in a kennel together, but then we had a spat, so they had to separate us. This is probably due to us not being neutered and each of us trying to be dominant. At least that is what I hear. I would like to have a home with another dog to play with. I have been around small children, but please remember I need training, so I am not going to be good right off the bat. I will learn though! The more exercise and training I get, the more I will become a loving member of the family. I am hopeful my forever family is out there, and I won’t have to move around anymore. It is very stressful to keep moving places. Oh! No cats for me!
