Remy Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix Leesburg, VA

Super affectionate, Remy, he's the sidekick you’ve been looking for! He'll go with you anywhere; in fact, he'll jump into anyone's car if they invite him. He loves everyone he meets and wants to meet everyone! 2-3 yrs old, 45 lbs.
Remy is definitely your shadow in the house, he could be in a sound sleep, and if you move to another room, so does he. He just likes to be very close. If you work from home, he will happily curl up in the dog bed next to you. If you are on the couch watching a show, he wants to be with you he will drape himself onto you! Sometimes he will just lay behind you and spoon you. He is very well behaved in the house: housebroken, crate trained, doesn't chew on anything he shouldn't. He has been left out of the crate often and is totally fine. We are just keeping him used to the crate so it is an easy transition when he is adopted.
We pulled him from rural VA, a couple hours below Richmond. He loves to walk and sniff. He would love to hike. He would appreciate even a small fenced yard to be able to lay in the grass and just watch the world go by and roll, (he loves to roll in the grass!) He is very curious, but quiet; if you walk past cars with people coming and going, he will wait on he sidewalk for them to get out of their car so he can meet them. If he passes dogs, he's curious, but non reactive. If they will play, so will he. He had a few play dates before his heart worm treatment and was a perfect player! He would make a great addition to any family, He is great with kids, all people, really. He would be great with or without dog friends in the family. He knows sit and we have been working on wait; he still needs leash training. He can't help but get very excited about squirrels and rabbits. We have been walking him on
Remy is an extremely affectionate boy. He loves everyone, he doesn’t play favorites. At bedtime he would prefer to be laying next to you, and yes, he will have his head next to you on the pillow or he will be curled up resting his head on your shoulder…but he will sleep in the crate if that is what you prefer. He has been around a lot of dogs. He is respectful of seniors. If one engages to play or will let him lay close, he will gladly oblige.

Remy has been neutered, utd on vaccines & preventives, microchipped, heart worm tested, dewormed, fecal tested, and he has had Heart worm treatment. Adoption fee: $600.
