Meet Remus.

This guy broke our hearts when he came to our adoption program. He was frozen in fear. Every time we even looked at him, his entire body would begin to tremble and shake. He looked like he just wanted to disappear.

Day by day, little by little, Remus is learning that he is safe and it's been amazing to watch him change and grow. His entire demeanor is already completely different in the short few weeks we have gotten to know him.

Don't get me wrong, he is still a very nervous and skittish little guy, but he's loosening up, taking treats from our hands, loving being pet, and even asking for more pets when you stop petting him, and becoming playful in his cage.

He truly is such a sweet little guy who is learning how to be a dog at two years old.

Remus is obviously a shy and nervous guy so meet and greets are going to be a little hard for him. But whoever does adopt this sweet boy and takes the time and patience he needs will be so loved by him.

Remus is bursting with love, he just doesn't know how to handle it yet. Who knows what this poor little guy has been through. All we know is it's all up from here little buddy.

Remus seems very interested in other dogs and may benefit from being in a home with a confident dog who can show him the ropes. Because he is so fearful, he cannot go to a home with young children at this time.

We do also consider him to be a flight risk so whoever does adopt him needs to do everything they can to keep him safe and make sure he can't go running off.

Remus may be a bit of a project dog, but he is so worth it. If you take the chance on this handsome little guy, you will not regret it.

Our adoption fees include the pets spay or neuter, microchip, up to date vaccines, heartworm/tick disease testing and fecal check. All adoption fees can be found on our groups' Petfinder page.
The first step to our adoption process is to please fill out and adoptions application, it can be found on our website www.serenityanimalhospital.net, under the "Adopt From Us" Tab. Please email the application to adoptions@serenityanimalhospital.net or drop it off in person during our business hours.
Any questions regarding our adoptable dogs can be emailed along with your application. Please allow us a few days to contact you about your application as we do get many in on a daily basis. We will contact you as soon as possible.
