Red *Courtesy Cupid* Pit Bull Terrier Mix Milwaukee, WI

Red is just over a year old. She loves her humans and always wants to be at their side. She is a giant cuddle bug and a loyal companion! Red has no shortage of toys, and plays with them all well, but her most favorite toy in the world is an empty dog dish. It is the funniest and cutest thing ever. She carries it around, sits with it, tosses it around, and even sleeps with it.
Red briefly had a home from March 2023 until nearly October 2023. The person returned her because it turns out he was looking for a guard dog and she was not up for that task. During that brief time, she had relatively little human contact and no veterinary care. She is now fully vetted. The one exception of course (and unfortunately) was that they clipped her ears which was done by a vet. While I loathe the reason for her return, I’m happy she came back to us. I agree, Red was far too sweet for that kind of life!
She is currently fostered in a home that has 7 other dogs; she is friendly with most of them. She does not like cats so her new home should be cat free. She has been around children but we do not have any in our home. She truly does not know her size and she matches little ones energy so she will need some limitations/boundaries and training if there are children in the home. Red is mostly potty broken. An occasional #2 accident happens if she plays outside instead of potties. You’ll have to watch to make sure she goes or she’ll rush back inside for cuddles instead.
