Red is exactly who you would expect him to be knowing that he's a senior aged Redbone Coonhound. He likes to sing the song of his ancestors, letting loose a long, throaty howl when he gets excited. This old boy prefers to lay in the sun and gnaw on his Nylabone antler rather than play. Although he does consider chasing after a tennis ball if you throw it, but usually he decides he would much rather lay in the grass. His calm demeanor makes it easy for you to trim his nails, get his vaccinations, and take trips to the vet. And he knows the commands "sit," "lay", "roll over" and "play dead." He's probably fit for a home with no other animals, as he can be a little bit temperamental with other pets.

To adopt, come see us! We're open for walk-ins Tuesday - Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM with adoptions closing at 4:30 PM each day. All adoptions are $25 and our pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to head home with you.
