Meet Rebel

Rebel is a sweet dog. 5 to 7 years young. He loves walks in the park and loves to come home and sit by your side. He is gentle and respectful with my cat and all the small animals he meets on his walks. He politely says hello to other dogs and then is content to keep walking with his person. He gets nervous around loud fast things like trucks and buses, children and puppies. He knows quite a few commands: sit, come back- but even more, so seems to intuitively know what you want him to do. He is eager to please and respond really well to positive reinforcement and training. He struggles on the steps and is slow getting up, which I think we'll get better with some weight loss but he may have some arthritis as well. Rebel's ideal day would include a couple walks and a seat next to you at home where he can get his ears scratched and lots of love. Apply to meet this great guy today! Www.hindeanimalsafehaven.org
