Raven is a Catahoula Leopard Dog 2 Y/O F(S) that’s been through it!

Raven was run over by a car followed by extremely elevated liver enzymes that landed her a week in the hospital and so sick that if she was put under anesthesia she would of flatlined on the table.
She’s currently recovering from her surgery with her foster who says she’s such a sweet girl.

She’s definitely scared and reserved but she’s opening up slowly. She is very quiet in her crate and well crate trained. She’s potty trained and loves to go outside and sit down to sniff the air. She gets tired on mild walks and needs lots of exercise with her new owner to get her down to her ideal weight. At intake she was 84# .. ideally she should be 50# she is now down to 69# since intake, and can stand to lose about 16# more and muscle growth.

She loves kids and cats but unsure about dogs right now since her surgery. Though when she’s healthy and active she is good with little and big dogs! She previously has been great with other dogs and lived with 4 kitties!

She needs lots of love and time to learn to trust with her new owner. Once she trusts you this girl follows you with her beautiful eyes wherever you are in the house. She is the most Loyal companion, who didn’t deserve any of what she went through, not a single mean bone in her body!!!
