Meet Ramona
Meet Ramona! She is 9 weeks old and currently 16 lbs of cute ready to find her forever home.
Oh sweet and nutty Ramona! This little spitfire is all healed up and ready for her next adventure - her forever home! Ramona came to us as a tiny injured girl found on the streets. She had a nasty abscess on her head, a fractured skull, and other wounds to indicate an attack, most likely from a much larger dog. This hasn't hindered her spirit whatsoever - she is the happiest little lady and just loves life.
She is good with other dogs and cats. She is your typical pittie puppy in that she runs and plays, chooses not to hear her foster mom when she's calling her, and has decided life is just too exciting to stop and smell the roses. She tends to be very submissive when meeting bigger dogs before she knows for sure that they are a friend. During these meetings, she may piddle a little but she will outgrow that as she gains confidence. She would do great in a home with a dog friend to play with and learn from. She has done well with cats but needs help understanding that not all cat friends want to play like her doggy ones. She is still all puppy and would do best in a home with older children that aren't at risk of being knocked down or having their fingers nibbled.
She is doing well with kennel training and will bark if she needs to go potty while in her kennel. She is still brand new to house training and will need a family that can help her learn. She is a very young girl and will come with all the things puppies do: jumping, chewing, etc. She'll need a family that can help her learn all the basics of being a good, well-rounded doggo and work with her to set boundaries so she doesn't grow into a big girl that thinks she runs the house.
Ramona is an all-around lovely little girl that will make a great addition to just about any dog-loving home. She will need a little more time to finish out all her puppy shots before being allowed in public places due to the risk of illness. Her future family needs to be aware of "no paws on the ground" until she's fully vaccinated.
