Meet Radar II

Radar is a 1.5 year old working-line German Shepherd. He is a compact strong dog who weighs about 80 pounds. He is house trained and crate trained.

In his former home Radar lived with another male GSD. As he matured it became apparent that the two dogs were not a good match and his owner reached out to rescue to see if we could help to find him a new home.

Radar has completed a 3 week board and train program at Modern K9 Solutions He has an excellent start on basic obedience such as walking on a loose leash and following commands such as sit, come, down and place. He is a happy-go-lucky kind of guy who will benefit from work to strengthen focus and develop calmness.

Radar needs a home that has prior German Shepherd or other working-dog experience.

The ideal home for Radar is one who has participated in training with previous dogs. In working with Radar his new people will need to set boundaries and clearly communicate their intent.
Radar can live as an only dog. With the right home and proper management he may also be able to have a dog friend.

Radar has not lived with children. We are not recommending he go to a home with small dogs, cats or other small critters.
