Radar Shepherd & Basenji Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Hi there, I’m Radar (because of my awesome ears). My foster mom thinks I’m a McNab Shepherd mix, but I just think I’m handsome.

I’m looking for my forever home. One where I can... whoa, jumping ahead... let me tell you about me!

I am a huge cuddle bug. I love to curl up next to your feet or next to you on the furniture. I can make myself into a ball so I don’t take up much room at all! I don’t snore, my foster mom says that’s important to know. I do hear everything though! I like to be next to you at all times. As long as I can see you I am happy!

I’m house broke and I know how to go to the door when I need to go outside. I love to run in a fenced in yard. My foster mom has two huge Labrador Retrievers so I get to play with my foster brothers. It is absolutely the best time ever! I’m faster than them so they get annoyed that I can run circles around them. They taught me how to watch rabbits that come into the yard. I love to go from window to window and find the intruders. I chase them away!

My foster mom says I’m not food aggressive, toy aggressive or bone aggressive. I guess this is important to know! I know how to walk on a leash and I’m learning to be a good member of society and have obedience. I’m a work in progress.

I love kids. Although I haven’t been around super small humans, my foster mom’s 7 year old lets me cuddle with her anytime I want.

I would do best in a home with other dogs (I like dogs that will play with me). Medium sized and larger breeds would be ideal. I would also love a person that worked from home or is very active! I would enjoy a fenced yard to run and play ! I would like to have a home with kids that will play with me and read me stories.
