Meet QUEENIE
***NEEDS FUREVER HOME***
Currently in Eagle, ID
Meet sweet, farm-friendly, playful 1-year-old named QUEENIE that is currently living on a farm in Eagle. She was good with resident dogs, fine with goats through the fence, and even ignored the resident cats.
QUEENIE knows how to enjoy her yard space and even entertains herself (see video). She also seems to know that the couch is for relaxing!
QUEENIE eats at a leisurely pace and takes treats gently. She doesn't seem to show any resource guarding with food or toys. She still has a habit of jumping on people when excited, but likes to please so can easily be trained.
QUEENIE knows sit and shake. She has been living in an ex-pen, but keeps a clean area, so we believe that she is housetrained.
QUEENIE might be initially a little shy/weary of strangers, but warms up quickly and then wants all your attention ????

Doesn't QUEENIE sound dreamy??? Complete an easy, online adoption application to meet QUEENIE in Eagle, ID.
BACKGROUND: QUEENIE was likely used to have one litter of puppies and then tossed away like trash. She was then picked up as a stray by the Jerome Shelter. Shelter staffers believed that she was pregnant and posted her on Facebook. She caught the eye of a dedicated foster mom who is also a Labor & Delivery Nurse who lived on a farm complete with other dogs, cats, and goats. Arrangements for transport were made by FFAR. After about 10 days, we could tell that she was not pregnant, so we are promoting her for a furever home.
