DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Katie Sue! Katie Sue came from a high kill shelter in Tennessee with her two siblings, Scooby and Phatz. She is now ready to find her forever home. Could that be with you? Katie Sue is very sweet, loving, and playful. She does great with other dogs. Adopting Katie Sue means welcoming a loyal friend and a constant companion. She's eager to start her new life, filled with fun, adventure, and endless love. Katie Sue would do well with an active person or family. At her young age, she is in her prime for training and socialization. Please remember that young dogs require a lot of time, love, and patience to become the best canine citizens they can be. Submit an application today and change this beautiful girl's life forever!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
