This is Pumpkin. She is a female Lab mix around 4 months old and 30 lbs. Pumpkin has some pretty big paws and she's tall but slender. She loves all people and always being around someone. She would love to be with a family or someone who is home majority of the time. She doesn't like to sleep in her crate at night but will after she takes some time to settle down, she'd prefer to be with her family or fur siblings! She does well in her crate while no one is home (again takes a few minutes to settle down, toys and bones help with that!) but cannot stay crated for too long just yet as she needs to get out and use the potty. She will have an accident if shes left too long. She also doesnt like being alone for more than short periods of time. She does great with other dogs and would probably benefit from having another dog to show her the ropes but would be okay as a single dog if she gets a lot of attention. She is learning to go to the bathroom outside but is not a fan of the cold or snow! She'd rather be inside warm and with her people! Her favorite things to do are snuggle and smother you with kisses, lots of licking happens when Pumpkin is around!!! Pumpkin is full of puppy energy, she wants to play, and be around those who love her as much as she can be. She is a very loyal and social girl. Pumpkin is learning to walk on a leash but doesn't have a big interest in being outside when it's cold unless it's to play with the other pups. She has the softest shinest black hair. Her skin is sensitive which can cause her to have some skin bacteria but not to worry its nothing some antibiotics doesn't fix quickly! She loves food so knowing to only eat her food and to eat slowly is a work in progress. She knows no, crate, and down. She is working on sit but gets so excited when she sees treats it can sometimes be hard to focus on the task/command being taught. She has a lot of potential and a lot of time to still learn the ropes!


We are presently not holding our regular Saturday adoption clinics due to the Covid-19 virus. We are operating on a limited basis until further notice, but we are still adopting dogs out. We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $350. Dogs over 2 years old are $250. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
