Puffin is a one year old eight pound chi weenie. He was surrendered when his family had a new baby. Puffin is very entitled! He thinks he rules everyone and everything. He likes things done on his terms. Puffin ideal home is one with teenagers and or adults only, no small kids. He likes other dogs but it is unknown how he will react to cats. Puffin is looking for a patient adopter who will teach him rules in a kind way. He is not mean or aggressive just bossy. He is very entertaining and just needs the right person to be his Valentine! He does fine in a crate and ride in the car ok. He is still working on housetraining. He was just neutered Wednesday so hopefully this will get better.

Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
