Pudding is a 6 year old miniature poodle who was released from a breeder. Pudding weighs about 14 pounds. She is a very sweet girl, but coming from a breeder environment, she is going to be looking for an understanding and very patient home that is willing to give her the time she needs to come around to being a more regular dog.

Pudding is an adorable and super sweet girl, but she will take time to bond with her people and will be scared. She can also walk in circles sometimes, which can be indicative of being in the same area for a long time and not exposed to other things when she was with the breeder. She needs time to get to know a new place.

Pudding has some allergies, and will lick at her feet. She may require Zyrtec or Benedryl and if this is not helping enough, she may require something stronger from the vet to help with this. Her bloodwork showed a slightly elevated ALT value, but the rest of her liver values looked okay. This would need to be monitored by the adopter with additional bloodwork to watch for the trend or any additional elevations in this value. Some dogs simply have a slightly elevated ALT. Due to the other values being normal, there is no treatment at this time and it is something to monitor.

Pudding spent almost her whole life in a breeding situation. She is working on house training and is doing so much better with time, but she still needs some work on this. Pudding needs someone very patient who is willing to work with her on this. She is anxious in a crate.

All this aside, Pudding is a beautiful, sweet girl, and she truly deserves her chance at a forever home after finally being out of that environment.

Pudding is now spayed, she also had a dental and bloodwork done, as well as being microchipped, heartworm tested, and the rest of her vetting brought up to date.

Adoption fee is $400. 00 + tax (no checks)

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
