Pruitt Boston Terrier Van Vleck, TX

Pruitt is a sweet boy that was sprung from Austin Animal Shelter extremely underweight at 7lbs. Pruitt's name means "Brave Little One", he has been gaining much needed weight the past few weeks. He will be neutered soon and then ready for his forever home. His foster mom is giving him the best care and has been evaluating him. Here is what we know so far, Pruitt is very sweet and a bit of a Velcro dog. He seems to love all people, but he would do best with a quieter home with adults and a mild-mannered FEMALE doggy friend or he would be happy as the King of his castle. He not a fan of a crate but will tolerate it if absolutely necessary. He LOVES toys and will require supervised play with other dogs as he is a protective of toys. He also, requires to be fed separately as he does want to guard his food/treats. Most likely triggered from being found starving. Pruitt is estimated to be 5-7 years of age. He is heartworm negative and current on vaccinations. He is set to have a neuter and dental cleaning. His adoption fee is $600 Approved adopters will need to be willing to drive to him.
