Priya German Shepherd Dog Eaton, OH

Priya is a 4 year old female German Shepherd that was dumped in a rural area and had to be trapped to be caught. She was very leery of people, probably with good reason. It appears that someone had used her to produce some babies which they may have sold and dumped the mom. She is tentative about accepting praise and a gentle hand, but is coming along on her journey to trusting people. She will make a great family addition but we would recommend older kids as the hyperactivity of young kids will most certainly scare her. She is completely housetrained and never potties in her kennel. She is a slender build but we are working on adding a few lbs. to her current weight of 48 lbs. Priya walks well on a leash but would appreciate a fenced yard.
