Princess Terrier & Chihuahua Mix Lacona, NY

Does everybody remember Princess, the 9 year old little beauty that came to us from a home with 3 other dogs living in not so good conditions last Fall? She has been doing great in foster, but her foster family is now out of town and she is in temporary boarding and would really like a home! She is housebroken, good with most likesized dogs, crate trained and very spry for a 9 year old terrier mix. At just under 20#, she is the perfect sized companion for any age. Princess likes walks and love and is kind of a foodie so snacks have to be put away good so she doesn't search them out. She is also a bit of an escape artist in the home so a fenced yard would be ideal so she can run and play safely without wanting to go see her neighbors.

We are looking for a foster to adopt home for Princess to finally give her a family to call her own.

Due to her current age, size and energy level, foster to adopt requirements are:

•Living within 80 miles of Adams, NY so follow up veterinary visits can made if needed, until adopted.
•Having previous/current pets in annually at a local veterinary office and up to date on vaccines as well as spay/neutered.
•Since she is dog friendly, she should be ok with likesized dogs in the home.
•Due to her current size and disposition, we are looking for homes with children over 10 years old.
•Willing to have current dogs/family members come to a meet and greet to meet the pet and be sure an acceptable match.
•Having time available to care for, socialize and start training of a new pet.

Fostering is free but if you chose to adopt Princess, our senior adoption donation is $275 and that helps cever a small portion of her dental cleaning and vetting that was done lat Fall.
