Poppy and her sister Branch (also posted for adoption) are adorable 4-month-old, 20-pound puppies. We aren't quite sure what their breed mix is, but we guess they are some kind of hound mix as they do follow their noses. These two are active pups who would love to find a family of hikers or generally outdoorsy people, a fenced yard to run around in, and maybe a canine sibling or two. Once her energy is out, Poppy just wants to eat a nice dinner and cuddle. She has met humans of all ages and has met cats - she is sweet and friendly to everyone.

As a young puppy, Poppy will need a family with the time and patience to continue her house, leash, crate and obedience training. Luckily, she is food-motivated and ready to learn!

All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.
Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.
Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.
Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors.
Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
