Because he was transferred from another shelter, we do not have any information on Poppy's previous interactions with kids, cats or dogs.

Poppy is a sweet boy who doesn't seem to know his size and can seem a bit clumsy at times. He is VERY food motivated and may follow his nose to not so appropriate places - like the countertop! His new family should be patient, have a sense of humor and be committed to getting Poppy some remedial basic training! Poppy loves his time in the play yard, but does seem a bit interested in digging near the fence so care should be taken when letting him out in a fenced area.

At this time, our dog kennels are open for general visitation without a prior appointment. We will, however, be limiting the number of persons in the kennel area at one time, and we appreciate your patience.
