Poppy Chihuahua Mix Green Bay, WI

Hi! My name is Poppy, yes like the flower! I am a 2 year old, 12 pound chihuahua mix. Much like flowers, I need love, attention and lots of patience for me to bloom. I also need someone who is very patient and understanding that it takes me a little while to grow to love new people. Once I am comfortable in my surroundings, my sweet and spunky personality comes out.

I am very sweet and am loving all the attention and snuggles from my foster mom now that I know she is a friend. I like to play and enjoy the company of the smaller dogs in my foster home. There are two large dogs in my foster home and they are really nice but I prefer dogs closer to my size. I am not sure about cats, but my foster mom thinks if they are respectful then I would be too. I would like a house with no kids because they move too fast and make a lot of noise, and that makes me nervous. I am potty trained and am working really hard on crate training. While I like to explore the yard, and playing with toys and bones, my favorite spot is right next to my foster mom.
