Meet Popeye
POPEYE is a 2-year-old cane corso. He is friendly with everyone and came from a multi-dog home. You can see in his soft eyes that he is an absolute doll baby. On picture day, he enjoyed a little roll in the grass, quickly made friends with one of our cat volunteers in the parking lot and truly enjoyed his interactions with multiple people in the parking lot.
POPEYE recently had heartworm treatment, so he will need to stay calm and rested for a bit, but he will have a normal life ahead of him. If you have questions about life post heartworm treatment, please ask the adoption desk, but don’t let heartworm disease prevent you from adopting a dog.
