Poinsettia von Poel is a gorgeous, 12-month-old German Shepherd. This smart girl knows “sit,” “down” and “paw” and will happily show you in exchange for treats taken gently from your hand. Poinsettia is working hard on her leash manners and needs time to settle down before going on a walk. She is enthusiastic and has a “ready for action” attitude. In play groups she is comfortable with other dogs and loves to romp but needs a bit a time to get calm and centered. (She is doing well sharing a run with another dog.) Poinsettia will break away from the pack to come up to people for pets and affection, including giving gentle little kisses. This lovely young lady is a “No, Thank You” for cats.
