Meet Pippin

It's hard to believe but Pippin the puppy was dumped beside the road in almost the exact same place that the Saint Patrick's Day puppies were found.

His rescuer glimpsed him beside the road as she was driving by and stopped to investigate. Lo and behold, he did not run away from her but kept going forward, looking back at her as he walked.
Finally, he stopped and sat down in a pool of murky, muddy water and looked up at her with those big sad eyes. Tears were falling as she scooped him up and took him back to her car. He was so grateful to be in a safe place; he fell asleep on the way back to her home.

Pippin is such a sweetheart puppy. The vet thinks he's only 12 weeks old and he's already 30 lb, but he is pure love!

He definitely has hound in him but his face and body disposition strongly suggest retriever. And it's anybody's guess where that one blue eye came from! Nonetheless, he is an exceptional puppy, very well behaved at this point and loves getting any attention.

He is good with other dogs and adores humans. He has such a gentle personality
and is so eager to please.

Naturally, his ideal home will have a fenced yard because he's going to be a big boy and it would be nice for him to have a confined area in which he can run and play.
