Meet Pierre *****Foster or Adopter needed *****
7-8 yo Male German Shepard
This handsome boy was surrendered due to the declining health of his owner. He was originally bought to be kept outside as a guard dog, however Pierre loves every person her meets so he wasn't a very good guardian.
Because he was kept outside, he has been working on his potty training and is doing great!
He does well with other dogs but we believe he would be best with medium to large dogs. He has gone after chickens so we believe he would not be great with small dogs and cats.
Pierre is a very sweet loving boy that just wants to be with his humans. He has a lot of energy for an older guy so don't count him out just because of his age. He is in great shape and would love someone to take him on hikes and adventures.
He is only 60 lbs so on the small end for a Shepherd.
**Pierre is in need of a foster home, so if you can't commit for his whole life, please consider helping him until he finds his furever home!
