UPDATE: Peppermint now has an adoption fee of $50. This fee includes spay/neuter, up to date on all vaccines (Parvo, Distemper, Bordetella, Rabies), deworming, heartworm test and current dog license.

Peppermint came into the shelter with Yeti. She is a work in progress but has come so far in her foster home. Peppermint is crate trained and is still working on her housetraining. Her foster mom says that she can get thru most days with no accidents, especially if given frequent outings. She gets along with most dogs so a meet and greet with other dogs is a real must. Peppermint is a dog that is scared to meet new people but with slow introductions and time she becomes more comfortable with them.

We believe Peppermint is between 1 and 2 yrs old and currently weighs 46 pounds. Peppermint has been spayed and is now up to date on her shots. Meeting dogs is by appointment only. Please call the shelter (740/593-5415) to make an appointment. All adopters must bring in kids and other dogs in the household for a meet and greet before adoption.

Adoption fees are $125 ($65 for dogs 7 years old and older) and include dog license, basic vaccinations, heartworm test on adult dogs, and spay or neuter (ARRIVED 12/6/23)
