Meet Pepper

Pepper is a female dog. She was rescued by a kind Forest Ranger who needs our help finding her a loving forever home. Her owner was abusing her — shooting her with a pellet gun most days and thankfully someone stepped in and said "No more". He would keep her forever but has to return to work at GT and can not keep her in housing there.

Pepper is a fabulous dog. Very responsive to commands. She will be very attached to whoever adopts her. Great with other dogs. Big dogs and little dogs. We are working on cats. Probably best with an active single person or couple. She may not be a good fit for a home with kids due to her history of being mistreated. She is believed to be maybe four to five years old. She is believed to be spayed but she might need shots updated. And she's only about 30 pounds. Perfectly petite travel, adventure, and snuggle buddy!
