Peppadew Chihuahua Mix Palatine, IL

Peppadew is a spicy, fashionista, close to 7 years old who could be the star in a potential new TV show, “Golden Girls - Canine Edition.” She has many positive qualities and a few that her new family can continue to help her improve upon. Peppadew loves people and will consider everyone she meets her new best friend. She will absolutely enjoy having all eyes on her as she models a new gown or sweater.

Peppadew has done well with other dogs in the house but will need slow introductions to new dogs when out for a walk. She does great during car rides and enjoys being outside when it is not too cold. She can be a bit protective of her toys and food. She seems to like her kibble with a bit of water, but who doesn’t like a little gravy? Like most seniors, she is a good napper and will cuddle up with a blanket on the couch during the day. At night, when the collar comes off, she will happily burrow in the blankets of her crate.

Peppadew does well at signaling when it’s time for a visit to the powder room. She will usually stand by the door and is even learning to ring a bell. We are not sure how she behaves with children or cats. Mostly she prefers people! If you’re looking for a gentle and mature diva who likes to be the star of the show, then Peppadew may be for you. We can guarantee she is eager to meet you!
