Meet Penelope!
Meet the utterly adorable Penelope – a one-year-old, eight-pound bundle of Shih Tzu joy! Perfect for Shih Tzu enthusiasts, Penelope, with her energetic spirit, is looking for a loving home, preferably with older children. Having come from a puppy mill, Penelope thrives with another dog companion to learn from.

This petite pup, at just eight pounds, has a heart full of puppy playfulness. Recently discovering a love for toys, Penelope fills her foster home with zoomies and playful antics. When it's cuddle time, she transforms into a total snuggle bug, melting hearts with her affectionate nature.

For Penelope, having her new parent(s) around during the day is a dream. She's a crate pro at night, and her foster family is diligently working on her potty training. If you're ready for endless puppy love and heartwarming moments, Penelope is waiting to wiggle her way into your heart!

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
