Meet Pedro
Do you love the sound of a piano being played? So does Pedro. This dapper, musical gentleman was born a bit of a ramblin’ man. But now he’s doing the best he can to settle down and find a relaxing home all his own. In fact, he spent some time in a foster home with an accomplished pianist and discovered that the one thing he loves more than friendly people are friendly people who play and listen to music!
This perfectly-sized boy with his copper-colored coat and origami ears is a real lovebug and likely to be the hit of your social media feed (if you’re one of those people who can’t help posting adorable photos of your adopted dog all day long.) Pedro is the ultimate couch cuddler and also enjoys sniffing his heart out in the yard or on short, brisk walks.
Similar to a young gentleman who spent his 20s wandering freely through the deserts of the southwest or mountains of Appalachia fine-tuning his survival skills, Pedro is slowly but surely adjusting to life in a home and all the new things that come with it. He’s working on his manners, learning to be patient, and loves keeping busy with fun food toys, puzzles and games.
Like a lot of us these days, he can get anxious in certain situations and would really thrive in a loving, mellow home where he can move at his own pace and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. With the right home and circumstances, Pedro might fit in nicely with another canine companion. But he’d be even more thrilled to be your one and only. Cats and little people aren’t likely to be ideal roommates for this once-nomadic boy. But he’s hoping you won’t hold that against him.
